Croatian Venture Capital Initiative (CVCi FoF)

    Date: 12 June 2018 - 13 August 2018

The Croatian Venture Capital Initiative (“CVCi FoF”) was established in June 2018 based on the funding agreement between the EIF and the Government of Croatia, represented by the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds.

The allocation to the CVCi FoF has been made in the context of the Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014 – 2020 and is expected to contribute to the improved access to finance for SMEs by supporting the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Croatia.
As part of the CVCi FoF, EIF is launching the present Call for Expression of Interest aimed at creating one (or more) Venture capital fund(s) with Acceleration compartments investing in SMEs primarily at their seed and start-up stages. The fund(s) will be managed by financial intermediaries who will be selected by EIF through an open, transparent, proportionate, non-discriminatory and objective selection procedure. Applicants may express their interest for an investment of up to the referred amount in the Call for Expression of Interest.

The deadline for the submission of Expressions of Interest is 13 August 2018.

How to apply

For eligible financial intermediaries interested in partnering with us under the CVCi FoF:
