Le FEI et la Société par Actions Simplifiée JEREMIE LR signent un accord cadre pour le soutien des PME du Languedoc-Roussillon

Le FEI et la Société par Actions Simplifiée (SAS) JEREMIE LR signent aujourd’hui un Accord Cadre pour un montant de 22 millions d’euros qui apportera une aide au financement des PME à fort potentiel de la région Languedoc-Roussillon.

Ce financement amènera des ressources supplémentaires aux entrepreneurs et contribuera à la création de nouveaux emplois.  Aux  11 millions d’euros apportés par le FEI (via les fonds structurels de l’Union européenne et de la Région), s’ajoutent 11 millions d’euros apportés par l’intermédiaire financier sélectionné (SAS JEREMIE LR).

Cet apport financier de l’UE et de la Région LR cible les PME à fort potentiels qui œuvrent notamment dans les secteurs à haute valeur ajoutée, telles que les énergies renouvelables, les Technologies de l’Information et des Télécommunications (TIC), les composants électroniques ou l’assainissement de l’eau.

Richard Pelly, Directeur General du FEI a déclaré : « Ce produit a généré un grand intérêt sur le marché. La connaissance profonde du marché régional par la SAS JEREMIE LR, son large réseau de partenaires et le fait qu’elle cible tout particulièrement les entreprises à fort potentiel de la région nous ont convaincus ».

«Notre collaboration participera sans aucun doute au développement de la compétitivité dans cette région. Il nous reste désormais à sélectionner un Intermédiaire Financier pour mettre en place un instrument de Garantie qui permettra de financer les PME du Languedoc-Roussillon à hauteur de 84 millions d’euros». 

La Région Languedoc-Roussillon, en partenariat avec l’État, ont  inscrit l’initiative JEREMIE dans le Programme Opérationnel du Languedoc-Roussillon 2007-2013 et ont confié au FEI la gestion d’un fonds de 30 millions d’euros, dont 15 millions d’euros de crédits FEDER (fonds structurels de l’Union européenne) et 15 millions d’euros de crédits Région LR, pour soutenir la création et le développement des PME de la région.

La signature d’une convention au mois de septembre dernier avec Créalia pour 2 millions d’euros visant à financer les PME œuvrant dans le domaine de l’innovation et la signature, aujourd’hui, d’une seconde convention pour 11 millions d’euros avec la SAS JEREMIE LR, ainsi que la mise en œuvre d’un instrument de Garantie prévue début 2011, la région Languedoc-Roussillon dispose des outils d’ingénierie financière adaptés pour insuffler un véritable dynamisme économique auprès des PME.

Au total, si l’on prend en compte l’effet de levier induit par les 30 millions d’euros que JEREMIE injectera dans l’économie locale, ce sont plus de 100 millions d’euros qui serviront à financer les entreprises du Languedoc-Roussillon.

JEREMIE en Languedoc-Roussillon

L’initiative Joint European Ressources for Micro to Medium Entreprises (ci-après « JEREMIE ») est un cadre offrant une série de mesures destinées à promouvoir l’accès au financement des micro, petites et moyennes entreprises. L’initiative JEREMIE en Languedoc-Roussillon est menée par le Fonds européen d’investissement (ci-après le « FEI ») agissant au nom du Fonds de Participation JEREMIE (ci-après « FPJ »). A travers le FPJ, le FEI gère des fonds provenant à 50% du Fonds Européen de Développement Régional (ci-après le « FEDER ») et à 50% de la Région Languedoc-Roussillon (ci-après la « Région ») pour un montant total de EUR 30m.
