The EIF announces its participation to Coopest second closing. Coopest is a EUR 30,000,000 investment fund based in Brussels and Warsaw, dedicated to provide funding to MicroFinance Institutions/Microcredit providers in Eastern European countries. The objective of Coopest is to finance the development of entrepreneurship through MFIs/Microcredit providers. MFIs/Microcredit providers in turn provide loans to microentrepreneurs who have no or limited access to traditional banking services enabling them to get started and develop particularly in the current difficult market conditions.
