EIF supports Innovation in Benelux

Under the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme" (CIP), EIF has invested in Newion II, a Benelux venture capital fund which focuses on business technology and software companies that bring innovation to existing IT markets.
Newion II management team’s hands-on approach and track record will contribute to improving the availability of financing for early to development stages SMEs active in a segment and region where funding is scarce.
This investment aims at fostering technological innovation, economic growth and job creation which are at the core of CIP’s objectives.
