EIF Working Paper 2015/30 - Financing patterns of European SMEs: An Empirical Taxonomy

  •
    Release date: 16 November 2015

Research & Market Analysis (RMA) presents "Financing patterns of European SMEs" n. 30 of EIF's Working Paper series resulting from an ongoing cooperation with the University of Trier.

While research in SME financing has strongly increased over the recent years, studies focusing on the analysis of financing patterns of SMEs in Europe are still lacking. The research presented in this working paper provides an integrative perspective of such SME financing patterns by identifying and analysing in detail the use of various financing instruments by SMEs.

The EIF Working Papers are designed to make available to a wider readership selected topics and studies in relation to EIF´s business. The Working Papers are edited by EIF´s Research & Market Analysis and are typically authored or co-authored by EIF staff or are written in cooperation with EIF.
