JEREMIE & JESSICA: Towards Successful Implementation

The conference - organised by the DG for Regional Policy of the European Commission in co-operation with the European Investment Bank group - is a flagship event bringing together high level participants and stakeholders from EU Member States, including policy-makers and representatives of the public and private sectors involved or interested in:

• JEREMIE – Access to Finance for SMEs
• JESSICA – Sustainable Urban Development

The event is aimed at the promotion of the JEREMIE and JESSICA innovative financial engineering instruments and at the exchange of best practice among participants. Building on the most recent implementation experience, this event will provide updated information about the progress of both initiatives, including case studies presented by national and regional authorities, and financial institutions. Four separate workshops will provide insights from operational experience and horizontal studies into key themes which are crucial to the implementation of JEREMIE and JESSICA
