Since beginning our Danish operations, the EIF has supported a diverse range of businesses through a variety of equity co-investments, guarantees, and debt instruments.
Key initiatives include multiple InvestEU-backed guarantees with the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO) and Ringkjøbing Landbobank, targeting digitalisation and green transition efforts.
“About 20 years ago, I watched a documentary about hydrogen fuel cell buses… I wanted to work on alternative forms of energy for the rest of my life,” says Rasmus Rode Mosbæk, founder and CEO of Hybrid Greentech. The Copenhagen-based company specialises in energy storage, offering consultancy, energy trading systems, and a virtual power plant using AI to optimise battery assets.
With a loan from EIFO guaranteed by the EIF under InvestEU, Hybrid Greentech scaled its product development and launched across northern Europe - moving from Denmark into Sweden, Finland, and Norway.
