EIF launches new EUR 2 billion Asset Management Umbrella Fund with first investor to support European SMEs

The European Investment Fund (EIF), part of the EIB Group, is announcing a new EUR 2 billion Asset Management Umbrella Fund (AMUF) to attract new risk capital investments for SMEs across Europe over the next three years.
 

EIF and Cordiant offer innovative finance for innovative companies

The European Investment Fund (EIF) and Cordiant have signed a guarantee agreement that will allow the asset manager to substantially increase lending to innovative companies across Central, Eastern and South-eastern Europe. The relationship is anchored by a EUR 25 million initial commitment from EIF generating a loan portfolio of up to EUR 50 million expected to mainly benefit companies in Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine.
 

EUR 400 million for Finnish SMEs under the SME Initiative following new agreements with EIF, Aktia Bank and Savings Banks Group

The European Investment Fund (EIF), part of the European Investment Bank Group, has signed SME Initiative guarantee transactions in Finland with Aktia Bank and Savings Banks Group (Säästöpankki).
 

EIF and ProCredit Bank sign first COSME agreement in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The European Investment Fund (EIF) and ProCredit Bank in Bosnia and Herzegovina (PCBH) have signed the first COSME agreement to provide guarantees for EUR 30 million of new loans to small and medium-sized local businesses.
 

EIB Group joined forces with local Banks to support businesses in Georgia

The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Investment Fund (EIF) – jointly the EIB Group – today signed guarantee agreements with TBC Bank in Georgia to support the equivalent of over EUR 90 million of lending to Georgian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
