Investment Plan for Europe (Juncker Plan) EIF and Bpifrance strengthen their partnership to support innovative businesses

The European Investment Fund (EIF) and Bpifrance have stepped up their efforts in support of innovation for French businesses. This third guarantee agreement in three years is backed by the Investment Plan for Europe (commonly known as the Juncker Plan). A new envelope worth EUR 600 million will be made available over the next two years in addition to the close to EUR 800 million that has already been granted since 2015.

EUR 700 million new support for SME investment across Greece

EUR 700 million of new investment by small and medium sized companies across Greece will be supported by Piraeus Bank, following new backing from the European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Investment Fund (EIF) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which was announced in Athens today.

The European Investment Fund (EIF) and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) are doubling the size of their loans to Polish SMEs from PLN 1 billion to PLN 2 billion (ca. €500 million). The loans are expected to reach close to 10 600 small businesses and entrepreneurs across Poland.
